Athlete of the Week
Ashley Echelberger - Baylor Echelberger, a senior top from Georgetown, Texas, competed in 10 heats to help the unbeaten Bears to a victory over Converse last week in a top 10 matchup. Echelberger helped Baylor record a perfect score in the open pyramid and a 9.95 in thee other heats (compulsory pyramid, compulsory toss, and the 450 salto toss). The senior also competes in Baylor's trio tumbling pass, which scored a 9.65. Echelberger earned NCATA Athlete of the Week honors for the second time this season, after also being honored back in week five.

Specialist of the Week
Karah Naples - Fairmont State
Naples, a senior top and tumbler from Woodbridge, Va., helped Fairmont State post two scores of 9.95 or higher in the pyramid event as Fairmont State topped Glenville State in a conference matchup. Naples helped the Falcons post their first perfect score of the season in the inversion pyramid, before helping FSU record a 9.95 out of 10.0 in the open pyramid. Naples and her teammates have posted four perfect scores in the pyramid event this season, and the open pyramid has not scored lower than a 9.95 this season. Naples was also named NCATA Specialist of the Week back in week two of the season.

Freshman of the Week
Catherine Reynolds - Fairmont State
Reynolds, a top and tumbler from Fairfax, Va., earned Freshman of the Week honors for the second time this season after posting a season-high 9.90 in her individual six-element tumbling pass during Fairmont State's victory over Glenville State. In total, she competed in six total heats and team event for the Falcons last week. In addition to her individual tumbling pass, Reynolds also helped Fairmont State record its first perfect score of the season in the inversion pyramid, and she also competed in Fairmont's synch pyramid, which scored a 9.95 last week.
