Emyre Cole - Michigan
Earned the all-around title against No. 8 Ohio State last weekend with an 84.100, the third highest in the NCAA this season
Posted two additional first-place finishes: floor (14.6-0) and vault (14.75)
Finished second on parallel bars (14.35-) to help the Wolverines top the Buckeyes
Collects his second career Big Ten Gymnast of the Week award and first since March 28, 2016

Freshman of the Week
Eric Nakamura - Minnesota
Claimed first place on floor (14.400) last week in their victory against No. 9 Iowa and UIC last week
Delivered the highest floor score for the Gophers’ this season
First freshman to win an event title this season for Minnesota
Earns his first Big Ten Freshman of the Week award

Gymnast of the Week
Sam Montague – University of Illinois Chicago
Montague set a season high in the all-around as UIC competed against University of Iowa and University of Minnesota. He led the squad on high bar with a 12.4, his third straight meet improving his score on the apparatus. He would also score a 12.05 on the rings, the first time in his career that he would break the 12-point mark. He also held the highest score for the team on floor scoring a 12.45. His best score on the day came on the parallel bars scoring a 13.0. Totaled all together, Montague would score a 69.9 in the all-around.

Specialist of the Week
Cash Buske – Navy
Buske was vital in a comeback win for Navy as the took on rival Army West Point last weekend. Headed into the final event, high bar, Buske would score a 13.6 giving the freshman a first place in the event. Navy would end up outscoring Army on the high bar by a score of 66.9-65.25.

Rookie of the Week
Nehemiah Baker – Navy
Baker played a large role in Navy’s victory over Army in the 2019 Star Meet. He would end up with a pair of top-five finishes that counted in the Mids’ 401.1-400.55 victory. He placed fifth on rings with a score of 13.55. He would go on to compete on the vault notching a 14.4 that was good enough for second place.

Gymnast of the Week
Brody Malone - Stanford
Stanford freshman Brody Malone (Summerville, GA) won the all-around title for the second consecutive week (84.200), this time at the Pac-12 Invitational (Feb. 2), which featured No. 11 California, host No. 14 Arizona State and No. 17 Washington. He led Stanford to a season-best 418.350 – the highest score in the nation this past week. Malone has now claimed two of the top-three NCAA all-around scores this season. He finished top-four in all but one event, including taking second-place in the pommel horse (career-best 13.650) and parallel bars (14.000). He captured third-place in the still rings with a career-best 14.300, and added another career-high in the vault at 14.550 to share third-place. Malone's final top-four finish came in the high bar, where he hit a 13.600 to earn fourth. A repeat winner from last week, Malone is the only freshman in the last five years to be named an MPSF Gymnast of the Week.
