Gymnast of the Week awards are given by conference offices or the College Gymnastics Association.

National

Gymnast of the Week
Yul Moldauer - Oklahoma
Moldauer posted an impressive 88.350 in the Sooners’ home-opening win over Michigan on Saturday. That mark is the second highest in the country so far this year, trailing only teammate Allan Bower’s 88.750 from the Rocky Mountain Open. Competing in the all-around for the first time in 2017, Moldauer put on quite a show for the home crowd. The Arvada, Colo., native won the event titles on floor (14.850), rings (15.100) and parallel bars (15.150). In a year in which scores of 15.000 or better are scarce due to adjustments to the code of points, Moldauer has now recorded five such scores. Moldauer rounded out his meet with a second-place finish on pommel horse (14.050), fourth place on vault (14.650) and third place on high bar (14.550).
